My sociology professor gave us a
hard copy about your winning piece which is the blond and the blue eyes. At first, I can't understand it so much coz im not on the right mood so I decided to read it again after the class. I am touched and it helps me a lot to understand more about the true meaning of "the border less world". I agree on your line which is "In a few years, I may take advantage of whatever opportunities come my way. But I will come home. A borderless world doesn't preclude the idea of a home. I'm a Filipino, and I'll always be one. It isn't about just geography; it isn't about boundaries. It's about giving back to the country that shaped me." We have the same perspective in life.. Yes, i want to work abroad..But it doesn't mean that I will forgot the country that shaped my humanity. Whatever happens, I will still and I will be a Filipino..In name, in blood, and in values. there's no more than to be "PINOY".. Good day!!! I hope, you may continue to inspire others!!=)
